Why Now Is The Best Time To Book Your Photography Session

What a year (or two) it has been. Sometimes I can't help but think of all the missed opportunities that have come and gone or the adventures that haven't been had. It's easy to slip into that way of thinking when we've been living like this now for so long.

Maybe it was the pandemic, maybe it was too much life experience than I'd care to think about or maybe it's as simple as this;

One day you might wake up and for whatever reason, your life is turned upside down. It could be in a positive way or a negative way, it will always look different from person to person. You know, it doesn't even need to take something big. Each day is never the same as the day before. Each day we grow a little bit more in one way or another. Each day our children grow too. Fast. Really fast.

My point is, at the end of the day all we have are our memories. Memories of the places we've been, the people we've loved and the journey along the way. Photography isn't the kind of thing you should put off (like maybe replacing the kettle with a broken lid or something like that) because life changes so quickly and it's important! I don't know about you, but if my house was on fire or flooding and I could only grab one thing... it would be my photo albums. As we grow old our memories may fade but photographs help to keep them alive.

If you do one thing in 2022, capture those moments. They only happen once.

"The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do." - Andy Warhol
