Such a beautiful little girl, with a beautiful name and the most expressive eyebrows I've ever seen from a newborn! When they are small we study their faces, wanting to remember every detail forever. When my son was born it seemed like endless days just memorising everything. Now he's four. When he sleeps he looks like that same little baby I held in my arms, just bigger with more hair. Sometimes I see the same expressions on his face that he did when he was small. Immediately I'm transported back in time to those newborn days. This is why I capture it all.
For those moments in the future when her parents see those same expressions on Lanie's face and have the photos to show her, that are displayed in her home to show her how loved she is.
