Sharni, like so many first time mums was hesitant to get any professional photos taken while pregnant. It can be a time when your body no longer feels like your own, and you don't feel comfortable in your own skin. As someone who missed this opportunity, not once but twice, I know how devastating it is to regret an opportunity missed that you can never get back.
Luckily the stars aligned for Sharni. She had seen another one of my sessions and in a wave of confidence, reached out about a session at 31 weeks. I was already very booked out but had one spot just become available. As I watched the weather we had rain every day in the lead up to the session and I wasn't feeling confident even though that day looked like the only sunny day, followed by more rain. I thought it must have been a mistake and that we'd have more rain.. but we had the most beautiful day, followed by the most beautiful sunset. I couldn't believe how much this session was just meant to be!
